do you accept payment plans?
Yes, I do! I usually charge 50% of the total service as a retainer fee due at contract signing and the rest is paid at 36 weeks. I am happy to set up monthly payments if that is easier for you.
I live outside of utah county, can i still work with you?
I usually try to work within a 40 minute radius of my home in Provo. Please reach out to me if you are interested in my services and let’s talk more!
i really need a doula, but i am not sure i can afford your fee?
It has taken me a long time to learn and apply, but I truly believe in the law of reciprocity and the balance of giving and receiving. When we prioritize our needs and wants, it is amazing how solutions materialize. To cover costs you might consider asking for donations to a doula fund instead of presents at your baby shower, seek reimbursement from an HSA/FSA account, or request a payment plan. Another option is to consider what you can barter to take down part of the fee, whether it be goods or services. Please let me know if you have a special circumstance such as single mothers, teen mothers, very low income, etc.
when should I hire a birth or postpartum doula?
I recommend reaching out to a doula (or multiple!) as soon as you are considering one or know you want one. Start the interview process early so you can make sure you find someone you connect with and secure a spot on their schedule. I would say it is never too early or too late! Please reach out even if you are due in a week or baby is already here and you want help.
